What made you want to become a barber?
I was always interested in hair styling. What made me want to become a barber was the strong, accepting community I found when I started to study hair. I was very young, but I was able to hone my skills while still showing my own personality.
What has your Fellow Barber journey been?
I often imagined I would get to work at Fellow Barber. I was doing my apprenticeship with Sassoon and got a part time job at Fellow Barber to help me pay for my education. Once I got my license, I became a full time Fellow Barber.
I’m proud to say that I surpassed my own goals at Fellow by becoming a Senior Barber in less than a year and moving up to Manager when I was only 21 years old.
What's your favorite haircut to do?
My all-time favorite haircut to execute is my precise skin fade.
I also love to show-off my scissor skills with round graduated cuts, where I get to combine my Sassoon training with the classic craft of barbering.
